We feel insanely blessed to not only have the job of bringing world class chiropractic care and practice member experiences to you and your family, but you in turn bring us so much joy and encouragement as well! You will hear all about that on the next couple of pages, but first we want to get the information out on our favorite time of year -- the Gift of Health season!
As many of you who have been in for a visit with us recently know, we have launched our Gift of Health campaign for December and January. With this campaign, we make it very easy and affordable for any family members or friends not yet under care at Foundations to get started. At the same time, we get to do some serious good for those in need! This year our "Gift of Health" certificate comes with $60 off a New Patient Exam voucher! On top of that, we are excited to share that the remaining fee for the new patient exam proceeds will be going to a fund to help practice members afford care who currently do not have the means to afford the valuable care that you have all experienced!
The gift of health is one of our favorite times of the year because it is simply such a win-win for all. It is the best time of the year to focus on your health and well-being, and doing so helps families who cannot afford care continue their amazing healing journeys! We have additional vouchers available. Simply call our office or stop by the front desk at your next appointment to grab as many as you need to give to friends and family. The program runs until January 31st!

Our Third Year
Foundations PFC has celebrated being open another year in Chetek! We are so blessed to have had another successful year. One of our favorite words in the office is HOPE. We have seen so many families come in the doors with sickness, dis-ease, sadness, and don’t know where to turn. It is hard to find a place where ALL your concerns are HEARD and an overall plan for your ENTIRE body's health and wellness is made. That is why we are here! After beginning care, so many families have experienced what it is like to have HOPE again! Hope that there can be health and joy even when other providers may have told them it was not possible.
We continue to grow through Google and Facebook referrals, but mostly through word-of-mouth referrals! Thank you to all our wonderful patients who have told their friends and family about our office and have helped lead them towards HOPE and HEALING as well. There is truly no better compliment we can receive here at the office than when you refer in your friends and family and trust us with the care of your loved ones. We appreciate you!
Personally, both of our boys are growing like crazy as those who have seen them in the office can see. Oliver is great at testing out all the toys in our kids’ room to make sure they are in great working order for all of your kids that visit our office. Isaac has already been “training” in the office and it will not be long before he will be answering your phone calls and scheduling your appointments!
Katy's diagnosis of cancer added a heaviness on our hearts, but the support of our family and friends along with all of your support has been incredible. She is tolerating chemotherapy well. She has a long road ahead in 2025, but we trust that God is in control of it all!
As we grow, we strive to make this a place where community and family healing can happen. We have been privileged to be a part of your amazing miracle stories this year. We look forward to continue sharing with the community all the benefits of neurologically-based chiropractic care and reaching people that need to hear it most.
Events for the Community to Grow and Learn Together
We love sharing new information with you and the community! Our team is obsessed with providing the most scientifically-advanced and detailed chiropractic care ever, as well as sharing that awesome education with you so you can get a better understanding about what chiropractic care can really do. We also desire to have a place where the community can grow and learn together.
In 2024 we were able to ramp up all of our events that we do and really add in value to the community. In January, we hosted a seminar in the office called Kick the Sick. We discussed natural ways to boost a kiddo's immune system and avoid cold after cold leading into allergies all winter and right into spring. In March, and again in September, we hosted our Perfect Storm seminars. Dr. Trevor talked about sensory processing issues in kiddos whose parents have tried EVERYTHING to create progress, but nothing has helped. Neurologically based chiropractic care can calm the storm and bring ANSWERS to your questions!
We were blessed to be able to participate in a couple of different health expos in Chippewa Falls and in Ladysmith this past year where we were able to share more about what we do here in the office. We were very excited to put together out first annual Perinatal and Birth Support Showcase at Camp Chetek in the beginning of November where we had birth providers who serve the Northwoods share how they can support moms and families and we are so excited to make this an annual event. Moms there are people that love you and want to support YOUR birth choices.
Lastly, Dr. Trevor was able to co-host an online webinar in December about overcoming anxiety with Drake Kessler, who is an occupational therapist that focuses on mental health in families. There is so much that goes into anxiety and it is a topic that can often get overlooked. Dr. Trevor and Drake shared about what anxiety can look like from a neurologic approach, how can you put out the fire, and what you can do as parents for your kids. If you missed that one, there is a recording on our Facebook page that you can view.
LOOKING AHEAD... We hope to have all of these events next year and more, so don't worry if you missed out this year. Going forward in 2025, we will also be bringing you some great new seminars and events, so keep your eyes out for flyers in the office or events on our Facebook page! “Before going to Foundations Chiropractic, my daughter was struggling with many symptoms related to ADHD and sensory processing disorder. The one that affected her life and the lives of our family the most was her inability to deal with any type of barrier or disappointment. She'd go from happy one minute to completely dysregulated and in a total meltdown the next. This would happen on a daily basis and several times per week these episodes would last for about an hour.
We got to the point where we felt pretty helpless. We had tried all kinds of parenting techniques, behavioral therapy, occupational therapy, and on our way to seeking other diagnoses. We had accepted that this dysregulation was a part of her for the time being and settled into a rhythm of supporting her as best we could. We all walked on eggshells every day to avoid being the cause of a meltdown, but we could never be careful enough.
When I saw the scans, everything made perfect sense. If her brain was already on overload, how could she handle any additional input? I was instantly hopeful and excited for what was to come. I've gone to various chiropractors all my life and even had my daughter go occasionally since a few days after her birth.
The difference at Foundations was the focus on caring for the brain through the body, rather than just the body. I've never been to a chiropractor like that before and didn't know it existed! We realized it was working within two weeks of starting appointments when we noticed a reduction in meltdowns. I can't even begin to express how much Tahlia's life has improved, as well as the lives of our entire family. She is SUCH a happy girl, bouncy, light, silly, and always smiling. I wouldn't have said that before. I knew it was in there, but it has been a complete gift to see her come back to us. We used to deal with hour-long meltdowns multiple times per week and they simply don't happen anymore. Ever. If something does upset her, it's always something that we would expect to upset her, and she is able to calm down within minutes with a little love from us.
I would tell anyone looking at starting care at Foundations to absolutely give it a try. Progress is closely monitored, and you'll be able to see as things change and make the choice for yourself if you want to continue. But at this point, I can't imagine stopping!”
